Lights, Camera, Action

Alright, as I have not figured out how to do this very well, I will just have to deal with how it looks. As some of you know, I went to New York City with my in-laws for a week trip. It was fun, however, I would have made it a little bit shorter. The first night we were there we went to the "Top of the Rock", Rockefeller Center. We wanted night pictures of the empire state building. The bottom picture is the Rockefeller Center and how high it is. Yes, I was able to go to the edge and freak out about it. My pictures didn't turn out too well of the empire state building though or I would have shared them. The second day we went to a broadway play that wasn't that great and then that evening we went to Mary Poppins on broadway. That was way awesome and would recommend it to anyone. The third day we went around New York and also on a ferry out to the Statue of Liberty. This was also one of my favorite events. I think I have the best picture on here of the Statue of Liberty that I took. The next day we went around New York again and then we went to Falstaff which is an opera. It was ok. The next day we went around New York and then we went to Tristan and Isolde which is also an opera, but it was 5 hours long. Not recommended. In fact, I have decided I am not an opera fan at all. Then on Saturday we had free time, went to the temple, went to Central park and took a buggie ride and then we went that evening on a two hour boat ride for the Harbor Lights tour. It was very awesome. There were other little thing we did in there, but those were the main events. Met Michael Ballam, shook his hand and then had to leave right in the middle of his thing to throw up. No, he wasn't that bad, it was just what I had eaten that morning or something. Fun.
Anyhow, just thought I'd share my trip. It was fun and I would recommend a trip to New York to anyone, but I honestly would never ever want to live there.

IT was good to see you for the two short minutes that you were here. Looks like you had a really good time in NY. Hopefully your family has recovered from your absence. Love the pictures.

Proof you were there. You've done something I'll probably never do...go to New York City. Glad you had a safe trip. I enjoyed the time I spent with Matthew on Saturday, he was REALLY good.
