Yes, I am way behind on this. I never really was tagged, but thought it would be something fun and different for my blog.


Baby Tag
1- Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant?
Matthew: At the Family Planning center. (Hey, they do free pregnancy tests).
Mason: In the bathroom at my sister's house.

2- Who was with you?
Matthew: The people at the family planning center.
Mason: Kai was outside the bathroom waiting and my sister was around somewhere, since it was her house.

3- How did you find out that you were pregnant?
Matthew: Took a test cause I just wasn't feeling the greatest for the longest time.
Mason: Took a test. I had the flu at the same time and I just wasn't getting better...now we know why.

4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant?
Matthew: Excitement and nervous
Mason: Excitement...and probably nervous again.

5- Your Husband's reaction?
Matthew: Are you serious?!!!
Mason: Are we ready for another one???

6- Who was the first person you told?
Matthew: Kai
Mason: Kai

7-Did you plan to get pregnant?
Matthew: Yes, but it was mostly if it happens, it happens.
Mason: Yes and no. Let's just say we weren't preventing it.

8-Was everybody happy for you?
Matthew: Yes
Mason: Yes.

9- Did you go out and celebrate?
Matthew: No.
Mason: No.
10- Did you want to find out the sex?
Yes to both.

11- What was the sex
A boy to both.

12-Did anyone throw you a baby shower?
Yes
13- If yes, who?
Annette.

14- Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you weren't going to put on your baby?
No, they were all cute.

15-How much weight did you gain?
Matthew: Around 30.
Mason: Around 30.

16- Did you loose all of the weight that you gained?
Matthew: Yes, but just in time to find out I was pregnant again.
Mason: Yes, amazingly enough.
17- Did you get a lot of stretch marks?
Matthew: A ton! Plus the fact that I had PUPPS made it even worse. Up all night itching cause it wouldn't stop.
Mason: Didn't know I could get anymore stretch marks, but I did.

18- What did you crave the most?Nothing really with either one.

19- Did you crave anything crazy?Not that I can recall

20- Who or what got on your nerves the most?
Matthew: I don't remember anything really getting on my nerves.
Mason: Probably everything. I was kind of going through a bout of depression I think.

21- Were you married at the time?Of course!

22- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy?
Just the PUPPS with Matthew.
Nothing with Mason.

23- Where were you when you went into labor?
Matthew: In the hospital. Induced.
Mason: Well, technically I was at home, but I didn't know it until I was at the hospital waiting to get induced.

24- Did your water break?
Matthew: The doctor had to break it for me.
Mason: Same thing, but only cause I was having hard enough contractions, but it wasn't doing anything to break the water.

26- Did you go early or late?
Matthew: Early.
Mason: 5 days late.

27- Who was in the room with you when you gave birth?
Matthew: Kai, nurses, doctor, my mom, and suprisingly, my dad.
Mason: Kai, doctor, and nurses.

28- Was it video taped?
Heck no.
29- Did you have any drugs for the pain?
Matthew: Epidural that ran out right before I had to start pushing.
Mason: Epidural and it was heavenly.

30-Did you go vaginal or have a c-section?Vaginal
31- What was your first reaction after giving birth?
Matthew: Just take him, I am so tired, I can't hold him just yet. Pretty sad, I know. Once I did though I fell purely in love with him.
Mason: Wow, he looks like Matthew! (Which he doesn't now) And, also a little bit worried that the doctor was going to drop him. He was a slippery little boy.

32- How big was the baby(s)?
Matthew: 7 lbs 3 oz.
Mason: 8 lbs.

33- Did your Husband cry?I think so, but he probably won't admit it.

34- What did you name the baby(s)?Matthew James Brown and Mason Kristoffer Brown.

35-Did the name have any significance to you?
Matthew: James is Kai's dad's name. And we just liked the name Matthew.
Mason: Kristoffer is Kai's middle name.

37- Did the baby(s) have any complications?
Matthew: When I first started feeding Matthew he started to turn blue. But it was just cause he still had mucous in his throat and couldn't breathe.
Mason: Nothing wrong with him.

38- How old is your baby today?
Matthew: 2 years.
Mason: 5 1/2 months.
39- When is the next one(s) coming?
On our time clock...not for a few years. On the Lord's time clock...who knows.
40- If you could would you do it all over again?
Definitely!
