Ha! I lured you all in here with my title didn't I? It's really not that all exciting except for it makes me happy. The other day I was helping Kai bring in our new washer and dryer and somehow I got some grease on my brand new shirt! I was so mad. Well, ok, I knew it would come out mostly, but I was still pretty mad. But then I remembered as I was watching one of my favorite channels on TV, the DIY network, that they had some tips of getting different stains out of clothes. So I jumped online and tried to find the solution to my problem. Scanning through, I found it. The solution??? Put some dish soap on it and baking soda on top of that, and then use an old (or new, whichever you prefer) toothbrush and scrub it in. Then you wash it and it is clean! Let me just tell you that we were a little worried about it because you could still kind of see the stain even after the scrubbing, but when I pulled it out of the washer...IT WAS GONE!!! I was so happy! Just thought I would share that little secret with you.
I also remember the other tip the had on TV was for ink stains on your clothes. You put salt on it and I believe rub it out. Maybe you have to put the dish soap on too. It probably wouldn't hurt. And the other tip they had for clog drains was to put vinegar and baking soda down your drain. Pretty cool tips I'd say. You all probably already knew that, but I was definitely excited about getting the stain out of my brand new shirt!

I'll have to try this...Brandon got grease on one of Kerrigans' new dresses the other day. Hopefully I'll still be able to get the stain out. Great tip!
I love a good laundry challenge! I will keep that tip in mind!
