Where did we go?

It may seem like we Brown's have fallen off the face of the planet because I haven't blogged in almost a month, but really, we are still right here where we have been forever. It seems like we stay really busy, but honestly, I don't know what we do. I guess our main thing is getting Kai to all of his physical therapy three times a week, twice in Cody. He is doing well with his back, it is just that he has been having his incision open up several times. Also, the weather hasn't been very friendly to him either. He has a bit of arthritis and well, let's just say his is MY weatherman.

We have just been trying to figure out what on earth we are going to do when Kai can get working again. Not so sure he is going to have a job with his employer, especially after the whole ordeal he had on Thursday about his unemployment benefits that he hasn't been getting because of them. We'll see. But we have come up with an idea, we just have to see if we can get things rolling.

I have been busy doing all that, TRYING to keep the house clean, and I got another part time job. It is only temporary, I think, as the girl that was doing it needs to have surgery. I am just filing and cleaning the offices. It isn't a whole lot, but I am very grateful for some form of income. I have also been busy doing the wonderful task of POTTY TRAINING!!!!!!! It is coming along a lot better than it ever has been. He does really good in the morning and early afternoon, but kind of doesn't do it so much in the late afternoon to evening. But...it is better than nothing. He complains about wanting to wear a diaper, but I just let him complain for a little bit and then he is ok with wearing underwear. Other than that, I am just loving being a mom, although I do have some ornery kids at times. But who doesn't?

Mason is starting to communicate a lot more. By communicate I don't really mean talking, although he is starting to say some words. But his communicating is screaming. Boy is that fun. ;( He has got a set of lungs on him let me tell ya!

Well, I guess I don't have any other news, although I would love to put pictures on, as I don't want this to be all boring, but....I haven't taken any pictures in a while. Whoops. So, sorry to bore anyone who reads this.

I was wondering how the back recovery is going, and the potty training. Good job! Do you get to pick your hours for your new job? Do you like it? (other than the income part, which is always good. :) We miss you!
