Well, I have been a big slacker about writing on our blog, but I guess a lot of people have. I attribute it to...as Annette and Caroline says...the winter blues. I definitely have them. But this week has been kind of a crazy week. Just trying to get everything caught up from last week of not feeling well. We finally were able to get Matthew up to Billings to get his tubes in his ears. Thankfully. Mom and I went and spent the night up there. Let's just say that was an adventure. I never knew how loud Matthew was until we spent a night in the hotel. I had parked the car and Mom went up to the room with Matthew and as I was came out of the elevator, I could hear Matthew and we were almost at the end of the hall. Holy cow. Anyhow, we were supposed to be at the surgery center at 6:30, which we were. But there were like 5 or more people that came in after us that had got called back before us. I was getting a little frustrated as Matthew was wanting a drink, and he wasn't supposed to have anything. Finally a little after 7:00 they called him back. He didn't throw a fuss at all. He was a little shy of the nurse that took him away from me, but he went. Then I went back to the waiting room and about 5 minutes later the doctor came out and said everything went fine. I was surprised. I knew it wouldn't take long, but that was fast. Then 5 minutes or more later they came to get me to take care of him till they let him go. He did excellent! Didn't have a problem coming out of the anesthesia or anything. The only thing that bothered him was the fact that he had to have a name tag thing on his ankle. So, that was that. I was able to go to the temple while up there. It was nice for the little while I was in there. Also on this trip I found out that Matthew is a VERY restless sleeper and he talks in his sleep, a lot. Oh well, it's cute.
So, I know I haven't posted many pictures lately, but I have been wanting to get out and do some picture taking. Maybe tomorrow. We shall see.
I also was wanting to know if any of you piano players, or teachers of piano have any fun ideas for piano lessons. I am trying to make it a little bit different than just saying, "Here practice this this week." Any websites or anything would be great too. Thanks!

Sorry about the tube surgery. That doesn't sound like much fun at all! Poor little Matthew! I'm glad you were able to go to the temple though.
I'm glad the tubes went in well and everything was fine. It's funny the things you find out about your kids nighttime habits when you are right next to them!
I'm glad Matthew's surgery went so smoothly--it is always scary to watch your child go through any kind of medical procedure.
