The Demolition Derby at the Park County Fair is one of Kai's favorite things to do every year. This year is probably the best year I think for Kai. He didn't win, but he lasted a lot longer than before, until his driveline got broken. Guess you can't drive without a driveline. :) His car is still pretty well intact and he will be able run in next year. He had a lot of fun, although he thinks he might just stick with the Figure 8 race and do a mini size derby car instead of the full size derby from now on. But it was actually kind of fun to watch this year, until just a couple heats before Kai's heat, a guy got hurt. I guess when he got hit really good there at the end his leg went through the floor, but also got broken, or something to that effect. Kind of freaked me out a little, but Kai is still intact. If there is one thing I don't like about going to the derby though, it is sitting so stinkin close to everyone. The grandstands were sold out and it is a good thing that one of the people that we got tickets for didn't even sit next to me cause I don't know how in the world he could have fit. It was crazy! Anyhow, I just thought I would share some pictures of my lovely honey as he is trying to smash up some cars.

Yes, you will still be accepted in the family. Not many in our family goes. But you can come watch one anytime with us. It would be fun.
