Happy Birthday To Us!

Happy Birthday to us! Happy Birthday to us!! Happy Birthday to us!!! Happy Birthday to us!!!!! Thank you to all for your happy birthday wishes. We had some good times, amidst the derby getting ready times. For Kai's birthday he ALMOST won the Figure 8 derby until he got a flat tire. It was so exciting. His first heat, he didn't do well at all...his car kept dying. Then in the final heat, he was at first, but got going really good and was a head for 10 of the 20 laps until the end and he got his flat tire. He was so excited. I was trying to concentrate on the race, but had a hard time as I took Matthew with me. Well, let's just say I won't be taking him to the main derby. Anyhow, we went out to dinner for my birthday. Had a chicken fried steak, which was bigger than Kai's 14 oz steak. Yeah, I couldn't finish it. I was hoping for a nice little baby for a birthday present, but neither I nor Annette had our babies. I'm starting to get there though as I can actually start feeling some pain with my contractions. Nothing to sneeze at though, but they are there. Anyhow, we had good birthdays and we are one year older, and maybe wiser too.
