Thankful on Thursday

Today I am thankful for my loving mother, who decided to come visit us. We really needed a break in our week, as for certain reasons, Annette wouldn't let us come over to her house. :) Ok, I didn't want to go over there either as I didn't want to get sick. Now she is gone for the weekend. Well, since I couldn't go over to Annette's I was looking forward to play group, which I hadn't gone to in a few weeks. But I got a message last night saying that there was no play group as the church was having a deep cleaning done. Ugh! So, when Mom called around 9:00 this morning to see if she could come over I was very grateful. I didn't know what I was going to do to break up our monotonous week of watching TV all morning. Kind of how it goes when you have sick kids. And it was very nice of her to take Matthew on a ride in her car. He sure loves his grandma. And his grandpa, and everyone else. Thank you mom for the nice visit. :)
