The Summer so Far

Well, here I am again finally blogging. I have been busy trying to get some of my projects done and have sort of succeeded. But as I was looking at my blog, I realized it is lacking color. I guess that will have to be added to my to do list because everyone else's is so cool and mine is just plain. But I guess I don't have the patience to figure out what I want to do with it. Anyhow, below is the picture of the baby blanket that I just finished for our baby. I don't know why, but I have been into the reds and browns lately. As you can see also that is a new crib in the background. Yeah, that took all day to put together. Harder than I thought, but I am really pleased with it.

Another of my projects was to finish a whole bunch of books. Well, I have finished the first one in a series and went to the library to get the next one, it was checked out. I was very sad. So, until then, I will start reading "Twilight." I finally was able to get my hands on a copy. Well, it was mostly because I had a few other books I was reading before I could get to it. But, anyhow, below is a picture I love of Matthew. I was talking on the phone one day and looked behind me and found that he had found a perfect reading spot. Such a cutie.

Another thing we have been enjoying doing is going every Tuesday and Thursday to Homesteader Park to watch our Daddy play softball. Ok, we don't get a whole lot of watching done as there are too many other things to run around and look at, but it is fun to get out. They only have two more games this season and then the tournament. I'm not sure if they get to play in the tournament because they haven't won very many games. We shall see.

I have finally reached the final examination of my Medical Transcription program. I have to wait for one of my quizzes to come back to me before I take the quiz though. Hopefully I can finish with a bang. But I am planning on throwing myself a little party when I am done. Probably will just be a little ice cream or something for the three of us, but it will be worth it.

Well, I would just like to publish my appreciation that I have for my little family. I am very appreciative of Kai because a lot of times he is my strength. He helps me out when I can't do anymore, and he shows a lot of faith in me. I'm also grateful that he is willing to take a leap into the unknown to make a living for us. I am very grateful for Matthew. He puts a smile on my face many times a day. Even though he is a little stinker a lot lately, he does do some good things. He loves to dance to music, loves to share with me, and he just has a cute personality that shows through when he knows he is doing something wrong. I guess that makes it so that I can't really get too mad at him. The other day I put him in his room because he did something bad, and he went to the door and kept saying "knock knock, mom, mom?" I opened the door and told him he did something wrong and he doesn't need to do that and he came up to me and gave me a little kiss. Sweet boy, he is always willing to give us hugs and kisses.

Alright, as I have no blabbed one enough to last another week, I hope all is going well in everyone else's lives.

Ahh! It looks like you have been enjoying yourself. I love the baby blanket and then new crib. Your baby will be nice and comfortable. Matthew is growing so fast. He's a good boy.

I guess that means we will have to have some ice cream to celebrate with you! David didn't recognize Matthew, so that means we better come up there to see you! The blanket is way cute!

I love the blanket! And I'm so excited you're almost done with your medical transcription stuff! Big accomplishment! And Matthew looks just like Kai with a little Susan mixed in. He's getting so big!
