Conversation for Today

The conversation piece for today is: "Name a talent that you are thankful for."

Well, I am not really sure what I possess that is considered a talent. The most obvious one that people see or say I have is playing the piano. Yes, I am very grateful for that talent, although I don't use it as much as I should. I am thankful for it because now I can teach piano lessons, which am not so sure I will be good at, but I am trying.

Kai's sister asked me just the other day what my talents were. She named, playing the piano, sewing, and another one, but I can't remember. She then asked what my "hidden talents" were. I have no clue...I mean, how am I supposed to know if they are hidden, right? I guess I should experiment on some things to find out what I can do and am good at. I suppose this is a question where I shouln't be modest. People used to say I was good at being friends with everybody and being kind. I don't know if the people I know anymore know me well enough to say that.

Ok, so I am really fishing for a talent. I guess it takes talent to take care of two kids and so I am very thankful for that talent because if I didn't have it, I would probably have gone crazy by now.

So, I ask you...what is a talent you are thankful for? And if you have any cool ideas of a talent that I could develop, let me know so that I can get to chopping on it. :)
