With the very few times that Matthew has actually seen and played with his Aunt Kris, she must have made a big impact on him. The day after she left after Thanksgiving he would ask about her. Even now, sometimes when we go to Grandma and Grandpa's house he thinks he is going to see Kris. But, the reason why I am writing this ode is because last night as I was in feeding Mason, Matthew was kind of being restless in his sleep and talking in his sleep. One of the things he said was "Kris". He sure does love you Kris. He gets excited everytime we look at your blog and he points to you and says, "Kris." We sure can't wait to see you and David again sometime.
In other news, it is supposed to be blasted cold outside this weekend. Like -30 degrees. Holy smokes. Those of you having ton of snow, I would rather have that than freezing cold weather.
Sunday is Matthew's birthday #2! He doesn't know it yet, but he is soo excited. All of our family around here is coming for cake and ice cream. And, as it is also Haley's birthday #1, I'm sure the family down in Utah will not be coming for cake and ice cream here. Just remember that it is also Matthew's birthday too! We will celebrate Haley's also. Actually we are doing it on Saturday as there are things going on on Sunday. We shall post pictures after it happens.

Oh, thank you! That made my day Susan! I miss you guys too- Matthew is such a cutie (and Mason too)! I would LOVE to come for Christmas, even though it is so cold up there and the drive would be crazy. Maybe one of the reasons why Heaven is so heavenly is because we can see eachother whenever we want. I would sure like that!
And... Happy Birthday Matthew! We will definitely be celebrating with you from afar!
Kris is pretty great. I think it's fun when the kids get really attached to their aunts or uncles.
