Correction

Ok, I have stand corrected. I didn't dress up as Kai, I just dressed up as a hillbilly guy. Kai is much more handsome than that.

Anyhow, today was a very good day with Matthew. I say just with him because he has been an ornery pill for the past week, but today he has been great. He has said like 5 or more new words today. One thing he said was when we took Kai his lunch...obviously Matthew loves tractors and so after we left I said, "Was that fun, Matthew, to see Daddy and his tractor?" He responded, Mmhm, that fun, mommy." SOOOO cute. Then we finally got him to say his name. Clear as a bell, Matthew. AND he FINALLY said Mason instead of just Baby. Then tonight he was jumping on his bed and he started to do the five little monkies song. He did the part where, the doctor says, "No more monkies jumping on the bed." Then he would stand up and fall down on the bed and say "Fun!" "That's fun, Mommy!" So cute.

Of course, I can't brag about just Matthew. Mason is a cutie pie too. He is getting so big. But he absolutely loves to watch his older brother. I catch him smiling at him sometimes. I also have to brag that he has been sleeping really good at night. Knock on wood. He knows exactly when it is time to go to bed. He gets fussy if he isn't in bed close to 8:00. Then he will usually sleep until 3:00. Yay! Then he will wake up again around 6:00ish. What a good boy. I think it helps that I have a schedule for Matthew to go to bed. I tried to set a schedule for Matthew when he was little, but that didn't work, he was still awake every two hours to eat. But, he is definitely on a schedule now.

AND of course I have to brag about my husband Kai too. He is so wonderful. I had to go to Cody tonight to teach a piano lesson and I didn't want to take Matthew with me. Well, he wasn't sure if Matthew would like being left behind, so he decided that he would go with me...EVEN THOUGH he is very tired of driving by the end of the day anyway cause that is all he does. He is such a sweetie and he loves me so much. He does so good with dealing with my stresses and...well, my mood swings. I guess my mood has swung (is that a word?) too much, it has just stayed the way it has been for a while, but he deals with it well. I LOVE YOU HONEY!
