It seems as though our poor Matthew has had a rough week. He is finally getting over part of it anyway. He started out last week with having pink eye. And of course his cousin Simon also had it. Well, as the pink eye started to go away, he seemed to develop another type of infection around his eye, which made it swollen shut. We felt so bad for him. It was a very sad sight. He ended up having to get a different type of antibiotic eye drop and also some oral antibiotics. Within a couple days of those, his eye looked 100% better.
We probably should have walked around like this all the time, especially at church. Everyone had to ask, but IT WASN'T CONTAGIOUS!

Anyhow, I don't know what is going on with him now, either the terrible twos or he is seriously having some issues with two year molars coming in. He has been ornery and NOT wanting to take a nap. Agh!! I try to be patient, but when he doesn't take a nap, it is a little hard around 5:00 on.

Mason on the other hand, well I don't know know what is wrong with him either. He must just not feel good because he has been a little whiny too, more today. I don't know, I guess my patience has just worn thin and I need to get out of the house. It doesn't help that my people I go visit the most AREN"T HOME!!!! It also doesn't help that it is cold and dreary out side. I guess I had better get used to it as winter is a long time. But, hopefully we will be able to get into a different apartment here soon. We shall see. As this one seems to make me very depressed. Not a whole lot of light that shines in, and I need it.
